A Lifelong Dream.

Sarrissa Elder has always wanted to own a coffee shop and in 2017 her dream became a reality at the Amarillo Community Market. S&J Coffee House offers hot & cold coffee and other drinks, and in 2020 they began offering sandwiches and daily hot specials! Amidst a pandemic, S&J Coffee House was able to remain open even while having to make some tough decisions. Sarrissa shares “Endurance is key in entrepreneurship, it is about managing difficulties calmly and without complaint.”
