The SBDC is partnering with the WTAMU Police Department to provide hands-on active shooter training to small business owners and employees! Lieutenant Barbara Ferrara will teach attendees using the nationally recognized Active Shooter CRASE (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events).

About the Event
The SBDC is partnering with the West Texas A&M University Police Department to provide hands-on active shooter training to small business owners and employees! Lieutenant Barbara Ferrara will teach attendees using the nationally recognized Active Shooter CRASE (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) Training. The CRASE course teaches the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy of responding to an active attack.
Attendees will learn: - History of active shooter events - Civilian response options - Critical medical issues Join us as we break out the Nerf guns and learn how to protect yourself, your family, employees, and customers!
