Give yourself the best possible chance of success by attending our Introduction to Business Ownership workshop, a service provided several times each month.  You will learn about the best way to develop your business concept, determine a marketing strategy, organize your business operations and determine your legal structure.  All this will keep you on the high road to success.  Seats are limited, so call in advance to reserve your place. Registrants for the 12:00 to 1:30 workshops are welcome to bring a sack lunch.

The Regional Director for the Small Business Administration will be here to explain what the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act offers for Panhandle residents as well as answer any questions regarding the new Act. The new ARC loan for small businesses facing immediate financial hardships will be included among the topics.

This annual event is a must attend for all business owners interested in learning more about the HUB (Historically Underutilized Businesses) Program. Experts from across the state will be here to answer questions and explain how the HUB program can benefit your business. There will be networking opportunities with state agencies as well as a chance to ask questions of a state panel that will include reprasentatives from the Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Lottery, West Texas A&M University and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

If you register online for a seminar or workshop, you will be asked for the information necessary to complete your registration, including name, address, and contact information.  You should also be prepared to include a credit card number for payment, if required.  Your information and your transaction will be secure and no information will be released to any other parties without your approval.

We reserve the right to cancel any seminar or workshop which does not have sufficient enrollment one week prior to the presentation date. Scholarships are available to those who are unable to pay the required fee.
