Success Stories

Maurice Evans
Maurice Evans

Alvin Lee and Maurice Evans got tired of having to travel to Dallas and other larger markets to find clothing and hip hop items that appealed to their taste. So they took a risk, purchased some items and began selling on street corners. They now have a physical location which allowed them to greatly expand their inventory. You can visit “The Variety Shop” for any of your Urban Fashion desires. The SBDC assisted Alvin and Maurice in finding suppliers, writing a business plan, creating financial projections, and discussing their legal structure.
