In Memoriam

Don TaylorDon Taylor

We lost a great friend and advocate with the passing of Don Taylor.  A former director of this SBDC, his insight into small business, his influence on economic development, and his vision for the possibilities of business development programs shaped this community and many others. Among his many accomplishments, he wrote a best selling book entitled "Up Against The Wal-Marts", he established a new model for rural business incubators, and he wrote a nationally syndicated business column.  But he wanted to be remembered as a man of faith.

Quote of the Month

"Use it up, wear it out, make do, do without."

- Don Taylor (1946 - 2006)
