When Angel Hughes' baby came prematurely, she couldn't find clothing to fit her tiny daughter.  She decided to open a store which would specialize in clothing for premature babies and infants up to 24 months.  Angel received SBDC assistance in basic business planning and payroll reporting.

The Amarillo Inventors’ Association will host a New Product Development Seminar for interested participants from Amarillo and the surrounding area Friday March 11-12 at the Amarillo Civic Center. The seminar is directed toward those who have an idea for a new product and want to patent, license, find financing, and or market the idea themselves or find an outside source to purse the idea.

DOOR PRIZES

Over $1,000.00 in door prizes will be awarded to attendees during the seminar. Prizes include subscriptions to Inventors’ Digest a $27.00 value, books pertaining to the invention process with a value from $9.95 to $19.95, and three Grand Door Prizes. Door prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of each session and the luncheon (21 drawings).

The first 51 to register will receive a complementary copy of DON TAYLOR’S book SOLID GOLD SUCCESS STRATEGIES FOR YOUR BUSINESS, retail value $16.95.

Pre-registration is $55.00 per person and $15.00 more to include your spouse. Seating is limited; however, if seating is available tickets at the door will be $75.00 per person and $25.00 for spouse.

Payment must be received by March 10, 2005 for pre-registration rates.
