FINANCING
We have some great news for you - there are more financial
resources available to start or expand a business in the Texas Panhandle
than anywhere else we're aware of.
In order to finance your business, you should be able to meet
three qualifications:
- You must present a reasonable business idea.
- You must prove that you are capable of running it.
- You must put in some money of your own.
We publish a financial resource book which lists the sources
for all types of financing available (including grants), arranged in a matrix format so you compare
one to another. If you have questions about any of these programs, you can
contact the source directly, or you can call the Small Business Development
Center at 806-372-5151. We have had experience with most of the programs
offered and can provide valuable advice about how to increase your chances of
getting funded.
